| Customer Reviews: The Resveratrol Is NOT Organic July 15, 2010 Anthony Loera (Miami, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The ingredients listed for this product make you believe that the resveratrol comes from organic grapes. It does not, the label shows a proprietary blend, and clearly states that the resveratrol comes from Polygonum Cuspidatum, which is the japanese knotweed. Japanese knotweed is not organic, and is used by all resveratrol companies in the supplement business.
In Short, if you believe the resveratrol in this product comes from organic ingredients, you are incorrect.
It is just marketing.
Energy and better health June 28, 2010 Patsy Sutton (New York) I'm a mother of two. I've been having trouble keeping up the energy for their schedules and my work load. my boss actually recommended this brand, she's very big into organic supplements and I thought why not.
After about two weeks I started noticing that I wasn't going to be absolutely exhausted and had been feeling a lot happier. I've been feeling better as well. In fact, just last week my boys came home with a summer-flu and I didn't catch it while caring for them.
Don't buy blindly June 22, 2010 Honest J. 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
There is a wide range of resveratrol formulations, and since this manufacturer does not show the ingredients of their formulation I would not buy it. Look for a manufacturer that is more forthcoming with the facts about their product. Particularly, look for:
- 99% Trans-Resveratrol
- Minimum of 100mg of 99% Trans-Resveratrol per serving
- Lab Assay to show the Resveratrol was tested and is free of contaminants
- NO emodin or Cis-Resveratrol
- NO proprietary ingredients lists (the quantity of each ingredient should be shown)
- NO fillers or flowing agents (Other Ingredients should just be cellulose capsule)
ER nurse stays healthy with resveratrol February 5, 2010 Debra A. Wilson 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Having been out of work for medical reasons for 18 months, I was fairly certain that the moment I was taken off antibiotics, I'd get sick because of my lack of immunity and the constant exposure I have to contagious diseases while working.
Although, I don't feel differently taking resveratrol, I haven't been sick in the 3 months I've been back to work. Since this is the season for many upper respiratory infections, I'm very pleased to not have been sick. Taking resveratrol is the only addition I've changed to my supplements, there must be a relationship between the two. I've also received several comments on how much healthier and more youthful I look now.
**NoTE: I prefer not to have my real name used with the review, could you just write ER Nurse or something nondescript instead??
